In the name of God Amen the third daie of ffebruarie in the yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne lord King James of England ffrance and Ireland and of Scotland the five and fiftieth  I Nicholas Winn of Hanslape in the countie of Bucks yeoman beinge sicke in bodie but of good remembrance blessed be God  Revoking and disannulling all former wills and testaments by me made doe ordaine and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following  ffirst I humblie comend my sole into the mercifull goodnes and p[ro]tection of Allmightie God ye ffather Sonne and holy Ghoste in full assurance that  through my Lord and Saviour Christe Jesus all my sinnes are freelie remitted and forgiven me and that  by his precious deathe and all sufficient obedience shalbe made my Inheritence of everlasting life in glorie and happines   My bodie I committ to ye yearthe in  assured hope of the Resurrecion thereof unto eternal happines in Glorie.  Concerning my lands tenements hereditaments leases goods and chattells I doe hereby order and dispose them as hereafter followeth   ffirst I doe geve and bequeathe all that my Close of pasture ground with the  appurtenance caled .... Close situate in Longstreete ende in Hanslope aforesaid and one acre of arrable land in Longstreete end in Hanslope aforesaid   All and singular my Barns Timber and Woode of whatsort soever which are unfixed and not annexed to the freehold or Inherititance of me the said Nicholas in Hanslope aforesaid unto Elizabeth Winn my nowe wife and to her heires and assignes for ever, upon condicon and be the  intente that she ye said Elizabeth  shall and will satisfie paie or cause  to be well and trulie satisfied or paide  All such debtes as I doe owe or stand bound by lawe or   to paie and  which are expressed in a sheet hereunto annexed Then I doe geve and bequeath unto Elizabeth my saide wife All and singular other my Lands tenements and heraditaments whatsoever with their and evre their appurtenances in Hanslape aforesaid for and during the naturall life of the said Elizabeth.  And after her decease then I will and my full intente minde and purpose is ye said lands tenements and hereditaments with their and evre of their appurtenances to her the said Elizabeth last and imediatlie before bequeathed shall remaine and be unto John Winn my brother of Stopworthe in the countie of Chester Apothacarie for and during his naturall life  And after the decease of the said Elizabeth and John my said brother and of the survivor of them  Then I further will and my full intente mynde and purpose is that the aforesaid lands tenements and heraditaments with their and evre of their appurtenances to the said John Winn hereby before geven or bequeathed or menconed to remaine, shall remaine and be unto Robert Winn and Nicholas Winn the two sonnes of the aforesaid John Winn and to their heres and assignes for ever upon condicon and with this intente if the said Robert and Nicholas Winn the sonnes their heires and assignes or sonne of them shall and will well and trulie paie or cause to be well and trulie satisfied or paied unto the children of Dorothy Hawkins my sister the full sume of tenn pounds of currannt english money to be equallie devided amongst them, and to the survivors and survivor of them within five yeares next and imediatlie after ye decease of my said wife and John Winn my said brother and of the survivor of them,  And also unto the children of Agnes Chalton my sister the sume of tenn pounds of like currant english money to be equallie devided amonge them and to ye survivors and survivor of them within five yeares next and imediatlie after the decease of my said wife,  and John Winn my said brother and of the survivors of them, And also unto the children of John Winn my said brother (ye aforesaid Robte and Nicholas ye sonnes onlie excepted) Other tenn pounds of like currant money to be equallie devided amonge them and to the survivors and survivor of them within five yeares next and imediatlie after the decease of my said wife and John Winn my said Brother and of the survivors of them.   Item I will and bequeath unto Richard Hawkinson  Francis Hawkinson the sonnes of Dorothy Hawkinson to each and evrie of them five shillings to be paid within three yeares nexte after my decease Item I geve my liverie coate to ffrancis  Hawkinson my brother   Item to my father in lawe Christopher Freeman I geve my best hate   Item I geve to Robert Winn  a booke caled Ye Relignes of ryme  Item I geve to Nicholas Winn a booke caled ye B .....   Item I geve to Richard Hawinkson aforesaid ...... caled ................  Item I geve to John Winn my said brother my best Cloke and my booke of the Statute.  Item I geve unto William Lingard minister of God his word at Hanslape aforesaid, my booke caled morney upon  the truthe of Religis    Item I geve to Robte Hocknell the elder of Hanslape aforesaid gent my booke caled Mr Perkins worke all in one volume  Item I geve to ffranncis Giffard of Hanslape aforesaid gent my booke caled Mr Aynswerther on the ..... of Saints  Item I geve to John Harris of yardley gobion my Testament with the psalmes. Item I geve to William Stafford of Yardley Gobion aforesaid my booke caled Mr Dent upon ye revelations of St John   Item I geve to Edwarde Barrowe .....  my litle booke w[hi]ch he hath in his custodie and hands,  Item I geve unto John Cooke of Bullindon end in Hanslape aforesaid my book caled Mr Cowper upon the eighte chapter to the Romanes. Item I geve to Robert Hocknell the younger and sonne of Robert Hocknell aforesaid my booke caled Jewells worke  Item I will and bequeath that my sister Agnes Chalton shall have the use of my booke caled the booke of martiers during her life;  And after her decease I will that then the said booke of martiers shall remaine unto Mr Richard Gerrard, James fferme, John Boland and Peter Heines and to there heries and assignes to be imploid to such godlie and charitable use and uses in the churche of Stopworthe aforesaid as his or theire heires and assignes shall thinke good.  Item I geve to Nicholas Winn the sonne of John Winn aforesaid my best swordes.  Item I geve to Richard Hawkinson aforesaid my other swordes.  Item I geve William Talor my booke called Mr Attersall his worke.  Item I geve unto James fferme aforesaid my booke caled Mr Junins upon the Revelation of St John. Item I geve to John Boland aforesaid my booke caled Mr Dente pathewaise to heaven. The residue of my leases goods and chattells whatsoever unbequeathed I geve and bequeathe unto Elizabeth my said wife upo[n] condico[n] w[i]th this intente that she my said wife shall and will geve unto Alice Chalton one of the daughters of the aforesaid Agnes Chalton ye sume of fortie shillings of currant english money over and besides ye aforesaid portion to her before bequeathed at or upon the daie of the mariage of the said Alice or when she shall have accomplished the age of one and twentiie yeares which shall first happen to come:  And also unto Marie Winn one of the daughters of the aforesaid John Winn, other fortie shillinges of like currant English money over and besides ye aforesaid portion to her before bequeathed at or upon the daie of the mariage of the said Marie or when she shall have accomplished the age of one and twentie yeares which shall first happen to come.  Item I doe ordaine and make Elizabeth my said wife the sole executrix of this my last will and testament  and I make the aforesaid ffrancis Giffard, Robert Hocknell the elder John Cooke aforesaid and Henrie Newman Supervisors and to each of them ye said Supervisors I doe geve and bequeath Two shillings of currant English money  Item I  will that  my said executrix  shall deliver and the said Robert and Nicholas Winn the sonnes  of John Winn aforesaid, shall have ye deeds and charters of the lands Tenements and hereditaments to them hereby before bequeathed     ......before bequeathed within one monethe next after my decease Provided alwaise and my will is that each the aforesaid Robert and Nicholas the sonnes of the said John Winn and  any of them shall sell or alien ye said lands Tenements or heraditments to them before bequeathed w[it]hout the consent of the Supervisors aforesaid or of the survivor or survivors of them first had and obtained under there hands and seales or ye hande and seale of the survivor of them  And that if they the said Robert and Nicholas Winn the sonnes of the said John Winn doe or shall sell or alien ye lands tenements and hereditaments to them before bequeathed then my willfull intente and minde is that ye money and such other thinge and thinges whatsoever for which ye said lands tenements and hereditaments shalbe sold or aliened shall remaine and be to all and evrie the children of the said John Winn and of Agnes Chalton and Dorothy Hocknell to evrie of them and to ye survivor and survivors of them and their children to be equallie delivered amonge them and that then upon such sale or alienacon  and after such benefits of money and things .... and made as aforesaid all the aforesaid children of the said John Agnes and Dorothie and of evrie of them shall cease to take or have any benefits of all mony the said severall portions of the said three severall tenn pounds to them hereby before bequeathed (anythinge in thes  ... contayned to the contrarie thereof in anywise notwithstanding)  In wittness whereof I have to this my present last  will and testament sett my hande and seale in the p[rese]nce of those whose names are hereunder written Nicholas Winn

The schedule of ye debts which I the aforesaid Nicholas Winn the Testator doe owe and stand to paie as followeth.

Imprimis to my Sister Agnes Chalton Twentie pounds of currant English money whereof tenn pounds is due and paiable on ye last daie of decembre next ensueing ye daie abo first above written ye other tenn pounds due and paiable on ye xxiiij th daie of June then next following.

Item to Thomas Hawben of castlethrope  Tenn pounds of currant English money due and paiable on ye xviij th daie of October next ensuing ye daie first above written.

Item to Robert Hocknell ye elder gent ye sume of tenn pounds of currant English money due and paiable ye first daie of November next ensuing the daie first above written.

Item to Griffin Glover thirtie six shillings and xj pence of currant English money due and paiable on the firstt daie of November which shalbe in the yeare of our Lord God 1613.

Item to Griffin Glover thirtie shillings more of currant English moneey due and paiable immediately
