In the name of God Amen the xx th daie of September Ano Dm 1611 I Jane Coursey of Hanslopp in the County of Buckinghame being sick and diseased in my body but of good and perfect remembrance thankks be to god  I doe make this my laste will and testament in manner and forme folloeing  first I bequeath my Soule to Almightie god my maker and redeemer trusting to be saved by the death and passion of my Lord and saviour Jesus Christe.  And my body to be buried in the Church of Hanslopp aforesaid. Item I geve to the mother Church of Lincolne x d  Also I geve and bequeath to Jaspar Coursay my sonne one black sowe And to him more my best bedstede in the parlor and the flock bed one bolster and one pillow and ij blanketts one pair of sheetes and one Coverlid which is now on  the bed and one chest which is in the lofte and the third parte of all my corne and pease and ... which I have in my barne and yard and ij of the best oke bordes  Also I geve and bequeath to Cassander Coursey my Daughter two beasts one of them being an old cowe and the other a heyfere  And to her more all my brasse potts.  And to her more all my pewter vessells and potts Excepte two peces of the pewter  vessells which shalbe appointed by my overseers to my sonne Jaspar  And two peces of the same pewter vessells to my sonne Edmond Coursey  Alsoe I geve and bequeath more to her my pair of Andirons the two with the pott hangers and pott hooke my fire shover and the pair of tongues the gridiron and the skymer and ij tubbes and ij barrells one paile and one buckett and a powdring Tubb and the frieing panne  and the churn and creame potts and all my cheese fattes (vats) and my wynding blades my whelles both lynnen and wollen  Also to her more my cubbord and to her more my four poster that be in the chamber and my boardes to make her a bed with the beste bede and iij joyned stoles and the best chare and the forme in the hall  And to her more all my lynnen (expect that which is aforesaid bequeathed) and the coffer the Lynnen is in and my .... and ij little joyned sto[o]les and one ...and the round table in the halle and one doz of trenchers halfe a dozen blacke potts  Also I geve to her more the three parte of all my corne and pease and my wood both in the barne and yarde Excepte the pales which are the fences about the yard which I will shall stand free and not be defaced   And to her more a flock bed and a bolster and my best coverlyd forthe which she shall paie her brother Edmond v s  which he  laid out for it when it was bought and to her more ij blanketts and one pillowe being the best  and all my wearinge apparrell  Also I will my hogg shalbe parted amongst my three children Edmond Jaspar and Cassander  And I geve to Cassander more my trunndell  bed  Also I geve more to Jasper  my tables in the chamber or bothee and one drinke barrell and a kimnell and to Cassander all my milke booles   And to Jaspar my blacke potte The rest of my goods and cattells here bequeathed moveable and unmoveable I geve and bequeath to Edmond Coursey my sonne whom I make Executor of this my laste will and testament my debts being paid and funeralle dischardged and I do make Luke Parrat and Nicholas Wyn my overseers to se this my last will performed and for their paines I geve them iiij d a peace.
