In the Name of God Amen I Samuell Allen of Handslop in the County of Bucks Yeoman being weake and Inferme in body but of sound Mind Memory and good . . . . . (thanks be to God for it) doe Make and ordayne this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme ffollowing (that is to say) first I give my Soule and Spiritt into the hands of Almighty God in humble hopes of Eternall Salvation through the Meritts of Jesus Christ our Lord and my body I comitt to the Earth to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executrixes hereinafter Named and for my Worldly Estate dispose of it as followeth (that is to say) Item I doe give and bequeath unto my Son John Allen the sume of Ten Shillings payable within Six months after my decease Item I Give and bequeath unto my Son Samuell Allen the Sume of Ten Shillings to be paid him Likewise by my Exectrixes herein after Named within in Six months after my decease Item  All the rest residue and remainder of my Good and Chattells personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever within the Kingdon of Great Britain after my debts legacyes and funerall expenses are paid and sattisfyed I Give and bequeath unto my Loveing Wife Eleanor Allen and my Daughter Anne Allen to be Equally divided between them and I doe hereby make ordayne constitute and appoint my said wife Eleanor Allen and my said daughter Anne Allen joint Executrixes of this my Last Will and Testament revokeing all former said other Wills and Codicills and declaring this to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have herunto Set my hand and Seale this Thirteenth day of September in the yeare of the Reign of our Most Gracious Sovereign Lord George  by the Grace of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland Lord defender of the ffaith Anno Dom 1718 Samuell Allen Signed Sealed published and declared by the Said Samuell Allen for and as his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us and then attested by us in the presence of the said Testator Benjamin Pomfrett Jeremiah Saxby the marke of Barbary .......
