In the Name of God  Amen I Samuel Ashby of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks being Sick in body yet of perfect memory praysed be god doe make this my Last Will and Testament revoaking all my former Wills and Conditions whatsoever Imprimis I give my Soule to god that gave it me hoping through the meritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour to have it Eternally saved and my body I commit to the earth to be buryed by my Executors hereafter named; whare it may with most decency be Layed, and for that small part of this worldly estate which it hath pleased the Lord to lend me I doe dispose as followeth

Item I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Ashby All my Goods as shall Apeare to Arise upon the Inventory of them; after my debts and funerall Charges are fully paid and discharged dureing her life; and after her decese then I will that my Children have the goods above said to be equallty devided betweene them; Item I give all those debts that are owing to me to the said Elizabeth my wife; and alsoe: all the mony in my house; and doe make the said Elizabeth my wife my full Executrix of this my Last will and Testament; And I desire my Loving neabour Thomas Hootton and my Loving Brother in Law Robert Walker to be overseeres of this my will: in witness whereof I have heare unto set my hand and seale this twenty ninth day of August in the yeare of our Lord god one Thousand six hundred and eighty foure

Signed and sealed and published and delivered to be my Last will and Testament in the presence of these:Samual Ashby; William Travell Robert Walker the mark of Thomas Mynard
