George Richards of Hanslop

In the name of god amen the ffirste day of August in the Eighteenth yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne lord James by the grace of God of England ffrance and Ireland king defender of the faythe and of Scotland the fower and fiftieth  I George Richards of Hanslop in the countie of Bucks baker being sicke in bodie but of good and perfect remembrance thankes be given to Allmightie god doe make and ordayne this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge  First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie god my maker, my saviour and my Redeemer and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Hanslop aforesayd  Item I give unto Guy Richards my eldest sonne ffourtie shillings of lawfull money of England to be payd unto him within five yeares next after my decease yf he be alive and come to demand yt but if he happen to die before that tyme or doe not returne to demand yt then my will is that it shalbe equalie among them that live.  Item I give unto Henrie Richards my third sonne ffortie shillings of like lawfull money of England to be payd unto him when he shall accomplishe the age of xxj yeares  Item I give unto Elizabeth Richards my daughter ffortie shillings of like lawfull money of England to be payd unto her when the shall acomplishe the age of xxj yeares  Item I give unto William Richards my youngest sonne ffortie shillings of like lawfull money of England to be payd unto him when he shall accomplishe the age of one and twentie yeres  Butt my will is that yf anie of my children doe happen to die before they doe receave ther porcions that then the porcion soe remaining shalbe equalie devided among them that live   All the rest of my goods and chattelles whatsoever and my house wherein dwell with the apurtenances whatsoever hereunto belonginge or in anewaise apertyaining I ffrely give and bequeath unto Thomas Richards my second sonne, and to his heires executors, administrators and assignes for ever whome I make my full and sole executor of this my last will and testament  Butt yf it shall happen that my Executor doe die before he have effected this will  Then my will is that my house with the appurtenances and the executorship  of this my last will and testament shall remayne unto Henry Richards my third sonne and to his heires and assigns for ever  Moreover I doe ordayne and apoynt William Hellier my brother in law and William Coake of green end my welbeloved ffreind my overseer of this my last will and testament to se that my executor doe pay my debts out of this porcion allotted unto him and performe my legasies soe far forthe as the law doth binde.  Sealed and delivered in the presence of William Hellier and Thomas Churche
