In the name of God Amen I Mary Newman of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Spinster being of perfect Mind and Memory praised be God therefore do make and ordain the my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following that is to say, first and principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator trusting assuredly to be Saved by and Through the Merrits of Jesus Christ My blessed Saviour and Redeemer And my Body I Committ to the earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of My Executor here after named Imprimis I give and bequeath unto Thomas Ellis of Hanslop Whom I make Constitute and Appoint full and Sole Executor of this My last Will and Testament My Silver Cup and two Silver Salts Item I give and bequeath unto Mr John Carrer Jun of Potton in the County of Bedford one Shilling Item I give and bequeath unto four poor Widows of the Parish of Hanslop as don’t Receive Collection And to such Surviving Widows After  them yearly for Ever All and Singular my Messuages Cottages lands Tenements and Hereditaments Whatsoever Wheresover one Messuage or Cottage and Close lying in Long Street Now in the occupation of Widow Lee Also Seven Roods of Arable Land lying in the Common field called Highcraft one Acre More lying in Halesfield one Acre More lying in Brachfield Now in the occupation of Matthew Adams with their and every of their Appurtenances To hold to them Widdows and to such Surviving Widows after them yearly for ever to be Disposed of by my Executor, the Minister and Churchwardens of the Parish of Hanslop, aforesaid that is to say, My Executor, Minister and Churchwardens, and their Survivors After them are to give to four poor Widdows as Atend the Church A Threepenny Loafe of bread apiece each of them every Sunday in the year and if the above mentioned house close and Arable Lands yearly rents shall amount to more than before Disposed of the Aforenamed persons are to  dispose of it to such poor as they shall think fitt but to be Accountable for no more Moneys than shall arise there from  Item I give unto my Sister Allen my Largest Ring  Item I give unto my Sister Newman my least Ring Item I give unto Christopher Wren Junior My Large Kettle Black Table and Glass and six Anne chairs Item I give unto Richard Wrenn my best Curtains two brown tables Six White Chairs and a Large box Item I give unto Charles Wrenn My feather bed and bolster Three pillows a Quilt and Three Blankets Item I give Unto my Cosen Mary Hyllier Wife of Thomas Hyllier of Courtenall and to my Cosen Sarah Smith Wife of Thomas Smith of Yardly Gobins both in the County of Northampton My Chest and all that is in it to be equally divided between them Item I give unto Sarah Creake junior My Box of paper worke and my Largest Silver Spoon Item I give unto Mary Creake my Olive box Silver Curall  and a small Silver Spoon Markt with B.N. My Silver Buckells and Thimbles Item I give unto Mrs fforster of Newport my Silver Spoon markt J.P.M.N. Item I give unto Mrs Eliz. Harris Spinster of Newport Aforesaid My Mourning ring all the rest of my Goods and Chattells Whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Thomas Ellis Whom I Make Constitute and Appoint full and Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament to Dispose of as he Shall think fitt And I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this Thirtieth day of May Anno Domi one Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty three Mary Newman Sealed Signed and Delivered by the said Mary Newman the Testator for and as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us Who subscribed our Names as Witnesses in the presence of the said Testator and in the presence of each other Edward Hobes  John Cox and the Mark of Hester Cole
