In the name of god Amen: I Thomas Garratt of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks: wickerman beinge sicke in bodie, but of perfect remembrance of minde, thanks be given to god, doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge: first I comend my soule into the handes of allmightie god my maker and redeemer and my saviour, trustinge to be saved, by the onely meritts of Jesus Christ, his precious death and passion, and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Hanslopp aforesaide: Item I give unto Thomas Garratt my elldest sonne, five pounds, of good and lawfull mony of England, to be paide att the age of one and twentie yeares ould: Item I give unto Willyam Garratt my youngest sonne, fower pounds, of good and lawfull mony of England, to be paide att the age of one and twentie yeares ould; Item I give unto Israell Garratt my elldest daughter three pounds of like lawefull mony, to be paid att the att the age of one and twentie yeares oulde: Item I give unto Elizabeth Garrat my youngest daughter, three pounds of like lawfull mony to be paide att the age of one and twentie yeares ould; Item I give unto Issraell my wife, all the rest of my goods and Cattell whatsoever, whome I make my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament moreover I doe ordaine and appoint Richard Carter and Christopher Cowley overseers of this my last will and testament 1634: Witnesses Willyam Arppin Christopher Cowley
