October the first day in the yeare of our Lord 1706 This is the last Will of Thomas Hollis Sen. hee being perfect sensible I comend my Soule to God that gave it mee And my body to the Ground to be buryed in Christian Burying I have a house att my dispose and my wives for both our Lives and all the premises belonging to it in the County of Bucks in Hanslopp in Church end And after my decease I give it to my wife for her life and all belonging to it and to my Daughter Elizabeth Hollis for her life and to my Daughter Jane Hollis for her life and all the appertenances belonging to it that is all the ground Backside and orchard and gardens and all that building whatsoever is there And I have given to Manuell Common to have harbor there till he comes to the age of twenty yeares and one if he pleases and noe longer leave And to my Sonn Thomas Hollis Jun. I give one shilling to be paid within twelve months and a day after my decease by his Sisters being Executors And to John Hollis I give my house and all belonging to it after the decease of these above named if he be the longer liver of them all that is the Sonn of Thomas Hollis liveing att Old Stratford and if he be dead then to the next Male heire soe long as the world indureth to the name of the Hollises forever Amen The last Will and Thomas Hollis sen. he being in his perfect sense sealed and delivered in the presence of us witnesses our hands ffrancis Mellowes Richard Church the marke of Richard Clarke
