In the name of god Amen, the xxvij daie of maie 1605 I Griffin Travell of Hansloppe in the countie of Bucks yeoman:  sicke in bodie but of good and p[er]fecte remembrance blesed be god, do make this my last will and testament in  forme followinge: first I comend my soule to god and my bodie to the earth in hope of the resurrection of ye iust   Item I give to William Travell my sonne v L of currant Englishe monie, and one acre of barly to be had and taken in harvest  time next after my death, out of the lande which I have by lease, from Thomas Mathew late of Hansloppe aforesaid gent  Lettice his wief and Gabriell his sonne:   Item I give to my sonne Christopher Travell, all that my said lease which I holde of and from the said Thomas Mathew, Lettice and Gabriell together with the tearme of yeares therin contained and yet to come, and the p[ro]fitts growinge by reason thereof the acre of barlie given to my sonne William aforesaid onely exceppted:  Item I give to Thomas Harper my grandchilde one yearlinge calfe of coulor redd.  Item I will that my executrix shall paie unto my brother Robert Brayfeelde the sume of xx LL of currant englishe monie which I owe upon a bond dated upon the xxvij  daie of maie aforesaid in forme followinge that is to saie, Tenn pounds at St Mathewe his daie next followinge the date hereof and the other x LL at the xxixi th daie of September which shalbe in the yeare of our lord god, 1606  The rest of my goods and chattells unbequeathed, my debts beinge first satisfied and paid I give unto Joane my wief and Christopher my sonne aforesaid: to be equally devided betwene them  Item I do ordaine and make the aforesaid Joane my wief ye sole executrix of this my last will and testament: wittnesses to this my last will and testament viz:  ffrancis Gifford  Robert Brafielde and Thomas Parrott
