In the name of God Amen This nineteenth daie of January Anno Dom 1631  I Luke Parrott of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks: the ellder yeoman, beinge weake in bodie, but of sound and perfect minde and memory, doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament as followeth  ffirst I commend my soule into the handes of allmighty god, my maker, redeemer, and Sanctifier, hopeing to be saved, by the meritts of Jesus Christe, my alone saviour.  Item I comitt my bodie to the earth from whence it came fully expectinge a ioyfull resurrection both of bodie and soule at the last resurrection and dreadfull daie of Judgement, and I will my bodie to be buried at the chardged and discretion of my executrix:  Item I give unto Thomas Parrott my grandchilde sonne unto Margarett one of my daughters deceased my best ewe sheepe but one, to be delivered to him within fowerteene daies next after my death:  Item I give unto Robert Wharton, one of my grandchilldren one ewe sheepe at the election of myne executrix to be delivered within one moneth next after my decease  Item I give unto Robert Parrott my eldest sonne my best dublett ierkin and paire of breeches:  Item I give unto Luke Parrott my second sonne my best cloake:  Item I give unto the poore of Hanslopp aforesaide five shillinges of lawfull English mony to be distributed by myne executrix:  Item I give and bequeath unto Anne Parrott my wife all and singular my debts creditts goods and chattells whatsoever unbequeathed which said Anne I doe hearby constitute sole executrix of this my last will and testament:  Item I ordaine Robert Parrott the younger my kinsman and Hugh Wrenn overseers to this my last will and testament:  published to be the last will and testament of Luke Parrott the ellder in the presence of Thomas Parrott Robert Parrott
