In the name of god Amen: I Luke Parrott of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks: yeoman, beinge sicke in bodie, but of perfect memorey, thankes be given to god for the same, doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge, ffirst I bequeath my soule to Allmightie god, whoe created it, to Jesus Christ whoe redeemed it, by whose meritts deathe and passion I hope and am assured to have salvation and to the holy ghoste, whoe hath sanctified and preserved me; three persons and one god, whome I doe adore, and will acknowledge forever; and my bodie to the earth from whence it came; Item I give unto my sonne Thomas Parrott the messuage or tenement, with the howses backesides, barnes stables and appurtenances thereunto belonginge situate and beinge in Long streete in the parish of Hanslopp aforesaide wherein I now dwell together with my cloase thereunto neare adioyneinge and all other my freeholde landes whatsoever in Hanslopp aforesaide; fower pieces of lande I lately purchased in Hanslopp aforesaide of Edward Tomkins and one acre which was given unto me by my father in lawe William Church onely excepted; to have and to holde unto the saide Thomas and his heires for ever; provided allwaise and my will is that my wellbeloved wife shall have all the rentes issues and profittes of all my saide freeholde lande and of the saide messuage and cloase without impeachment of wast for and duringe her naturall life;  provided further and my will is that my saide sonne Thomas, and such person or persons as shall lawfully seased of my said freeholde lande messuage cloase and premisses so by me given as aforesaide (except before excepted) shall within one yeare after my saide wifes decease, paie unto my sonne Luke and my daughters Anne and Mary tenn pounds apeece out of the same; and in case any of my saide chilldren, Luke, Anne and Mary shall depart this life before they shall be paide theire saide tenn pounds or the same shall become due and payable unto them accordinge to my true intent and meaneinge of this my last will out of my saide freeholde lande soe given as aforesaide that then and in such case my will is that the same shall remaine and be paid to the survivor or survivors of them that shalle be then liveing Item I give unto my sonne Luke the saide fower acres of lande I lately purchased of the saide Edward Tomkins situate and being in Hanslopp aforesaide, and the saide one acre of land which was given me by my saide father William Church;  to holde to him the saide Luke and his heires for ever; provided allewaise and my will is that my saide wife shall have the rentes issues and profitts thereof without impeachment of wast till my saide sonne Luke shall accomplish the age of one and twentie yeares, if she shall so longe live, Item I give to my daughters Anne and Mary twentie pounds apeece; and my will further is, that in case my saide wife shall after my decease marry againe, that then she shall paie unto my said sonne Luke and daughters Anne and Mary, twentie pounds apeece out of my personall estate over and besides the legacies by me heareby given unto them;  Item I give unto my saide sonne Thomas ffortie shillinges and my best coate and my best suite of apparell  All the rest of my goods cattelle  chattells, brasse, pewter household stuff not by me heareby given, my debts beinge paide and my funerall expences discharged, I doe give and bequeath unto Mary my wellbeloved wife whome I make sole executrix of this my last will and testament, and I doe desire and appoint my brother in  lawe Robert Parratt the elder and my brother Robert Parrott the younger to be overseers of this my last will and testamente to be ayding and assistinge to my saide wife in her executinge of the same Unto whome I give twelve pence a peece for theire paines; and I doe heareby renounce all other and former wills by me made;  In witness wheareof I have heareunto sett my hande and seale the Seaventeenth daie of June Anno Din 1639   Luke :Parrott sealed signed and published in the presence of Robert Parrott and Arthur Coldwell
