In the name of God Amen the 18th daie of Aprill (1612) in the Tenth yeare of th Raign of our Sovraign Lord James By the grace of God Kinge of England ffrance Ireland and of Scotland the ffyve and ffortieth I Elizabeth Brice of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Spinster Being sicke in Body, but of parfect minde and good remembrance thankes be to Almightie God Doe ordayne and make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme ffolowinge First I doe gyve and Bequeath my soule to Almightie God my maker and to his only sonne Jesus Christ my redeemer, And my Body to be buried in the yearth from whence yt came Item I doe gyve and bequeath to my daughter Margery Travell all my best Chest, my newe save gard, my best neckerchev two of my best aprons Item I doe gyve and bequeath to my Brother John Brice of Owny Twenty Shillings of lawfull monie of England Item I doe gyve and bequeath to my Brother John Brice, his wife my best redd peticote Item I doe gyve and bequeath to my Syster Jhoane Rider of Newport Pagnell my two gownes and two neckerchevs, and one other neckerchev is not yet all made my second coffer and my best hatt, more I doe gyve unto her two children William Rider and Annie Rider x s apiece, to be paid to them in manner and forme folowing that is to say, William Rider to have his x s at his full age of xxi yeares and Annie Rider to have her x s at her full age of xviij yeares or at the daie of her marriage which shall first happen and come, Item I doe gyve and bequeath to my Brother Hugh Brice a paire of shetes and my third coffer, Item I doe gyve and bequeath to my Brother William Brice of Newport Pagnell x s and he to paie to my executor the Rest that he oweth me w[hi]ch is fower pounds The Rest of all my goods debts and Chattells whatsoever unbequeathed, my funnerall expences and Buriall ........
