In the name of god Amen: I Anne Parrott of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks: widowe, beinge sicke in bodie but of perfect memorie, thanks be given to god for the same, doer make my last will and testament, in manner and forme followinge; ffirst I bequeath my soule to allmighty god who created it, to Jesus Christe who redeemed it by whose meritts death and passion, I hope and am assured to have salvation and to the holy ghoste, which hath sancitfied me and preserved me, three persons, and one god, whome I adore and will acknowledge for ever, and my bodie to the earth from whence it came; Item I doe give and bequeath unto my sonne Willyam Parrott five pounds; Item I doe give unto my sonne Christopher Parrott five pounds; Item I doe give unto my sonne Mathew Parrott five pounds; Item I doe give unto my sonne Richard Parrott five pounds; Item I doe give unto my daughter Katherine Gray, my best blacke gowne, and my best redd peticoate, and the new coverlett which I made myself; Item I give to my daiughter Jane Ley, twoe paires of new sheetes and twoe pillowe beares: Item all the rest of my linnen and wollen unbequeathed I give and bequeath to my three daughters viz: Jane Ley, Katherine Gray, and Alice Dyer to be equally devided amongst them; Item I doe give unto my sonne Thomas Parrott five shillinges; all the rest of my goods cattelle and chattells my debts, beinge paide, and my bodie brought to the ground I doe give unto my saide sonnes Willyam Parrott Christopher Parrott, Mathew Parrott and Richard Parrott whome I make my executors of this my last will and testament, and doe revoake all former wills, by me made, and I doe desire my brother Willyam Ashebie and my brother Thomas Travell to be overseers of this my will, and to be ayding to my saide executors in the performeinge of the same, unto whome I give six pence a peece for theire paines in token of my love; Item I doe give unto my daughter Lettice Parrott, the beddsteede I lye in, and the feather bedd, and twoe feather boulsters and twoe blancketts, belonging to the same, In witnes wheareof, I have heareunto set my hande and seale, the six and twentieth daie of June anno dm 1635 Signed sealed and published in the presence of Arthur Coldwell, and Bennet Byrchmore
