In the name of God amen this ffifteenth day of April Anno Domi 1673 and in the ffirst and twentieth yeare of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord Charles the second King over England I Thomas Westly now of Newport Pagnell in the Countie of Bucks and formerly of Hanslap in  the Countie aforesaid Labourer being weake in body butt of good perfectt Memory and remembrance praised be Almighty God for the same Doe therefore make and ordaine this my Last will and Testament in Manner and fforme ffollowing that is to say ffirst and principally I give my Soule into the hands of Almighty God who gave it mee and my body to the earth ffrom whence it  was taken and as for that Litle of this Earthly substance which it hath pleased God to Lend me I dispose of as ffolloweth Item I give and bequeath unto  my Two Sisters iff they be yett liveing that is Marie Westly and Elizabeth Westly twelve pence apeece iff  they come to demand it  Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Venter the sume of tenn shillings to be paid her by my Executor hereafter Named Item I give and bequeath unto Marie Morris of Newport twelve pence: And to Ann Godffree Twelve pence Item I give and bequeath to my Mother in Law the Wiffe of Thomas Westly Late of Hanslapp deceased one shilling iff the same Bee demanded Item I give and  bequeath unto my brother in Law William Westly the Sume of Tenn pounds if he Live untill hee is out of his Apprentiship or untill he Come to  age the which Come ffirst to be Solld or disposed of the same Item I give and bequeath unto my Loveing ffriend and Master Matthew Marshall of Newport Pagnell in the Countie aforesaid husbandman my Dwelling house Cottage and tennement situate and being in Hanslapp aforesaid with the yard or pittall (pightle) and all and singullar other the Appurtenances thereunto belonging to him and his wiffe and to his heires ffor ever In consideration of theire Love and affecttions Charges and expences to me in the time of Sickness to there own proper use and behoof and to be at their disposseing only paying out of the same the afforesaid sume of tenn pounds to my brother in Law as afforesaid: I here make and ordaine my afforesaid Master Matthew Marshall Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament thus Revokeing All other wills and Testaments In Witness whereof I have herunto sett my hand and seale the Day and yeare ffirst above written The marke of Thomas Westly Signed sealed and published to be my Last Will and Testament in the presence of us Will Westton The marke of Sarah ffinnibitt John  Battisson
