In the name of God Amen I Thomas Wright  of Hanslop in the Countie of Bucks Laborer being this fowerteenth day of february in the year of our Lord God according to the account of our Church of England One Thousand six Hundred ffiftie and nyne very sicke and weake in body  But (blessed be God for itt) in my perfect sence and memorie doe make and ordayne this to be my last will and testament as in manner and forme followeth  Item first I doe give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God and to Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer in whome I wholy rely for the redemption thereof, And as for my body I doe give to be decently buried soe neare to my late wife and daughter as with convenience maybee and as for my worldly goods houses and estate which the Lord hath lent mee I will and doe give in manner and forme as followeth  First I will and doe give and bequeath to my welbeloved now wife Jane Wright  All that my Messuage Cottage or Tenement with the Yard garden orchard and all other the appurtenances to the same belonging or anywayes appertayning to be and to remayne to her use and after her then to the use of the right heires and assignes of my said welbeloved wife and to her heires and assignes for ever accordingly as shee shall dispose of itt att her death or when shee passeth which I now have and am owner of which standeth in a certaine place in the parish of Hanslop aforesaid called and knowne by the name of Higham Crosse and rounded on the south most side thereof with the lane called Breten Lane and North east thereof the common field called and known by the name of Bretch field, and now in my owne possession  Item all the rest of my worldly goods househod  stuffe and Chattells and Cattell  Moveable and unmoveable whatsoever I will and doe give to my welbeloved wife Jane Wright my iust (just) and due debts and funerall being by her discharged  whome I doe ordaine constitute and appointe to be be my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament  In witnes hereunto I the said Thomas Wright doe hereunto sett my hand and seale the daye and yeare first above written  The mark of Thomas Wright  And doe publish and declare the above written to bee my last will and testament in the presence of us The marke of Robert Parrott  The marke of Robert Ringe  William Ashbey
