This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Brittan of Hanslop in the County of Bucks   I resign my Soul to its maker in all humble hope of its future happiness as in the disposal of a being infinitely good   I give and devise to my beloved Wife all my effects of what nature or kindsoever during her life   after her decease and my Debts are all paid I give and devise to my Daughter Ann Allin and her heirs the house and premises she now dwells in and also I give and devise to my Daughter Ann Allin and her heirs and assigns the house and Orchard in Woodend Lane unless there is not money sufficient to discharge my Debts arising from my effects then my Will is that it shall be sold towards the payment of them   I give and devise to my Daughter Lucy Manning and her heirs the house and Close on Stocking Green   I give and devise to the Children of my late Daughter Charlotte Kitelee the house I now dwell in with the premises that are not excepted   I give and devise unto my Grandson Joseph Allin and his heirs my Plumbing and Glazing Shop and the Stock and Tools therein and also the enclosed plot of Ground called the New Garden adjoining the end of the said Plumbing Shop and if it is ever Enclosed twenty five ffeet from the post the Gate shuts to on a strait line to an angle of ffifteen ffeet to the Corner of the house Wall next the Pump and the very necessary use of the Yard and I give to him also the Bed and Bedding that is in my Bedchamber and my Will is that he shall pay his Brothers and Sisters and first Cousins two Guineas each respectively as they come of age   and I give to my Grandson Joseph Manning my Watch   and I give to my Grandson William Allin all my Wearing Apparel   and I give to my Grandson Joseph Kitelee all my Silver Buckles   and I constitute and appoint my Son in Law William Allin and Charles Bishop Executors to this my last Will and Testament I also give a memorial of two Guineas unto Charles Bishop for his trouble and if any money is left after my Effects are sold and Debts are all paid to be equally divided betwixt my Daughters Ann Allin and Lucy Manning and the Children of my late Daughter Charlotte Kitelee in Testimony of which I have hereunto affixed my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of June in the year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine Joseph Brittan Signed Sealed and Delivered and acknowledged by the Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us Mary Stainer   Christopher Bishop   James Fowkes
