In the name of god Amen the xxviij day of March in the 42nd yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne lady Queene Elizabeth,  I Richars Smyth of Hanslopp in the county of Bucks husbandman,  sick in bodye but of good and p[er]fect minde and remembrance blessed be god doe ordayne and make this my last will and Testament in maner and forme followinge which I desier to be put in weighting,  Imprimis I geve unto John Smyth and William Smyth my two eldest  sonnes all that my close of pasture grounde comonly cauled the drye close with the hedges ditches and the appurtenance therunto belonginge situate in Hanslopp aforesayd, and my will is that my sayd sonnes shall occupie and use the sayd close and premisses in comon yf so they will, yf they will not that then it shallbe equally devided betweene them provided that yf eyther of my sayd sonnes doe minde to sell his parte of the sayd close and premisses that then the other brother and sonne aforesayd shall have yt to the intent my sayd sonnes maye be the one the others heire, yf they or any of them dye without issue,  Item I geve to Thomas Smyth my younger sonne all that my Acre of arrable land with the appurtenance forever, which sayd acre is situate in Waleanns ffeld within the parishe of Hanslopp aforesayd,  Also I geve unto my sayd sonne Thomas a cowe to be bestowed toward his advancement in bindinge of him to be an apprentice  And my will is that neyther of my sayd sonnes John nor William shall enter or take my benefitt of the close and premisses to them geven as aforesayd before he come to the age of xxj yeares nor that my sayd sonne Thomas shall enter or take any benefitt of the sayd Acre of Arrable land before he come to the age of xxj  yeares, but that Cysely my wife shall have and take the benefitt of my sayd close and acre of arrable land aforesayd and of all an every their appurtenance my sayd three several sonnes doe accomplish their severall ages as aforesayd,  Item I geve unto my Daughter Dorothyie Smyth a calfe I geve her a cubard  Also yf my sayd wife will, the rest of my leases, goods and chattels of what sorte bond they be of I geve to Cisely my sayd wife whome I make the Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, and also I make William Ellis and Edward Horne the overseers hereto in the presence of Anthony Kingstone and JohnYeomans Witnesses to the sayd Will
