Memorandum that upon or about the Seaventh day of December in the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand Six hundred seaventy and Nine William Garner late of Hanslapp in the Arch deaconry of Bucks Husbandman deceased being sicke of his sickness whereof he shortly after dyed being about two Dayes before his death being of sound and perfect sense and memory with a full purpose and intent to dispose of what he had and to make his Last Will and Testament  did in the presence and hearing of Ann Allwinkle and Jane Backhouse spinsters and John Allwinckle Baker all of Hanslapp in the Arch deaconry aforesaid Publish utter and declare his Last will and Testament Nuncupative or by word of mouth in words and speeches to this effect and purpose ffollowing (That is to say) hee gave to his Sonn in Law John Herbert of Hanslapp aforesaid one Black Cow to be delivered to ye said John Herbert at or upon the second day of ffebruary next And to his Sonn Joseph Garner of ffenny Stratford one Browne Cow to be delivered to him at or upon the first of May next ensueing He alsoe gave to his Sonn Richard Garner one Bullock all his sheepe with the rest of his personall        Estate And he the said Richard to hand the two Cowes that are given to John Herbert and Joseph Garner to his owne use untill the time mentioned for the delivery of them: These or the like words in effect the said Testator at the house of his said habitator where he then dwelt in Hanslapp aforesaid did publish utter and declare to be and stand for his Last Will and Testament Nuncupative or by word of mouth and did bidd the said Witnesses that this was his said will Signed the marke of Anne Allwinkle and Jane Backhouse
