In the name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me William Gray of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Butcher as followeth (that is to say) First All that my Messuage Cottage or Tenement with the buildings Homestall and appurtenances thereto belonging situate standing lying and being in Woodend Lane in the parish of Hanslope aforesaid which I purchased of William Hindes I Give devise and bequeath unto my dear and loving Wife Mary Gray for and during the term of her natural life she keeping the Buildings in tenantable repair and from and immediately after her decease I Give devise and bequeath my said Messuage Cottage or Tenement Buildings Homestall and Appurtenances unto my youngest daughter Mary Gray her heirs and assigns for ever I Give to my two sons and Eldest Daughter George Gray John Gray and Susanna Frost one shilling each all the rest of my personal Estate I Give to my said Wife for her life and after her decease to my said youngest Daughter Mary Gray her Executors and Administrators and I do appoint my said dear Wife Mary Gray sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills In Witness whereof I have herunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four – William Gray (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Gray the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses in the presence of the said testator at his request and in the presence of each other – Thomas Wright - A.H.T.
