In the Name of God Amen I John Newman of Hanslapp in the Count of Bucks Grocer being ill in body but of Sound and perfect mind and memory praised be Allmighty God for the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in writing in maner and form following first I comend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to Receive free pardon of all my Sins and as for my body I comitt the same to th Earth from whence it came to be decently buried att the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as for that worldly Estate which it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I Give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I Give and Devise unto my loving wife Ann Newman for and during the term of her natural life all those two Closes of pasture Ground and Spinney thereunto adjoining lying and being in Hanslapp aforesaid Containing by Estimacon Eighteen acres (be the same more or less) and adjoining to Holyday Lane and now in the tenure or occupation of Samuel Crick together with all and Singular hedges Ditches mounds fences freeboards wayes easments Commons profits Commodities and appurtenances whatsoever to the said Closes and premises belonging or in any wise appertaining Item I Give and Devise unto my Said loving wife all my household Goods for and during the terme of her naturall life and from after her decease I give and Devise the same to my Sister Mary Newman Item I Give and Devise to my Sister Mary Newman my Two Silver Salts Item I Give and Devise all the Rest and Residue of my Goods Chattells money and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said loving wife Anne Newman whom I make full and Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament revoking all former and other Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this Tenth day of January in the Twelfth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance Ireland King Defender of the faith Annoque Dni one Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Five John Newman Signed Sealed and published and Declared to be the last Will and Testament of the said John Newman and attested by us in the presence of the Testator  William Hyllyer Ralph Morgan Bishop Pritchett
