In the Name of God Amen I William Martin of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Husbandman being sicke and weake in body but sound and of perfect minde and memory praise be therefore given to Almighty God Doe make and ordaine this my present Last Will and Testament in manner and fforme ffollowing (that is to say) ffirst and principally I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God hopeing through the meritts death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sinns and to Inheritt everlasting life And my body I comitt to the earth from whence it was taken to be decently buryed att the discretion of my Executor hereafter named And as touching the disposition of all such Temporall Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth ffirst I will that my debts and funerall charges shall be paid and discharged Item I give unto my Brother Edward Martin ffive pounds Item I give unto my Sister Sarah Martin ffive pounds Item I give unto my two Brothers Thomas and Edmund Martin one shilling apeece Item I give unto my kinsman Richard Martin sonn of my Brother Thomas Martin five pounds Item I give unto Richard and William Martin Sonns of my Brother Richard Martin ffifteen pounds apeece All the rest and residue of my personall Estate goods and Chattells whatsoever I doe give and bequeath unto my loveing Brother Richard Martin ffull and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I doe hereby revoke disanull and make void all former Wills and Testament be me heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said William Martin have sett my hand and seale this second day of October in the Seventh year of the Reigne of our Sovereign Ldy Anne of Great Brittaine ffrance and Ireland Queen defender of the ffaith Anno Dom 1708 William Martin published Signed and Sealed in the presence of Gabriell S           marke of Thomas Cooke Richard Cox my will is that the Legacys with named should paid one yeare after my decease
