In the name of God Amen I John Nelson of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Victualer being sick in boie but of good and perfect remembrance thankes be given to Allmighty God for the same doe make and ordayne this my last will and Testament in manner and forme folowing  ffirst I give and bequeath my soule unto Allmighty God who created it  To Jesus Christ who Redeemed it and to the holy Ghost who hath sanctified and preserved mee three persons and but one God whome I doe adore and will acknowledge for ever  And my body to the Earth from whence it came to be buried according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named   Item I doe give and bequeath unto Mr Christopher Troughton all that my Messuage or Tenement wherein I now dwell with the houses edifices yards orchards gardens backsides and appurtenances thereunto belonging situate and being in Church End in the parish of Hanslopp aforesayd  And all my Estate interest terme and termes of yeares which I hold by Lease or Assignement togeather with my Lease or Assignement thereof and all wrightings concerning the same to have and to hold the same unto the sayd Christopher his Executors and Assignes from and imediately after my decease for and during all the residue and remayne of yeares that shalbe then to come and  unexpired provided neverthelesse upon speciall trust and confidence and to the intente and my will is that my sayd Christopher Troughton his Executors and Assignes shall bargaine and sell my sayd Messuage or Tenement and premisses with thappurtenances and my sayd Lease or Assignement thereof to the best value he can, and the money thereupon raised shalbe distributed and paid unto and amongst my sonnes John Nelson William Nelson and Richard Nelson parte and parte alike  Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Judeth Nelson her Executors and Assignes  All that my Acre of Land situate and being in Bretch feild in the parish of Hanslop aforesayd and all my Estate and interest therein Provided that shee the sayd Judeth pay unto Thomas Sheffield all such money as I owe and am in debted unto him out of my sayd Acre of land  Item I give and bequeath unto my sayd daughter Judith my best bedstead and feather bedd and bolster with all the furniture thereto belonging scituateing in the Chamber over the Parlour belonging to my sayd Messuage or Tenement togeather alsoe with all my wifes child bedd linnen  Item I give and bequeath unto my sayd sonnes John William and Richard and unto my sayd daughter Judeth all other my household goods and chattells napery bedding brasse pewter and implements of houshold stuff togeather with all other my goods Cattells Chattells debts and Creditts whatsoever to be equally devided and shared amongst them  And I do hereby make and ordayne my sayd daughter Judith full Executrix of this my last will and Testament Provided that my funerall charges and expenses and my buriall with the expenses and charges thereof be defrayed out of my sayd houshold goods and chattells soe by me given amongst my sayd fower children as aforesayd  In witnes whereof I the sayd John Nelson have hereunto sett my hand and seale this two and twentieth day of december in the yeare of  our Lord God one Thousand sixe hundred and fiftie  And I the sayd John Nelson doe hereby revoke and renounce all other and former wills by me made  And my will is that the sayd Mr Troughton shall make unto my sister Mary Perkins a good and sufficient Estate in Lawe of her howse she lives in for the remayne of the terme of yeares yet to come in my Lease signed Johannis Nelson   Signed sealed and published in the presence of William Gadson William Panter  Arth: Coldwell
