In the name of god Amen / The yere of o[u]r lord god 1538 / The
iij day of Juli I William Web in the p[ar]ishe of hanslap sike in
bode but hole of minde / Thankes be god & of good remembrance / doo
make my last will in forme & mann[er] here folowinge / ffirst I
bequeth my soule to god allmyghti / w[hi]ch hath bowte? me w[ith]
his p[re]scous blod by the merets of the wich I trust to be saved /
and my bodi to be bured in the church yarde / of the apostell
saint James In hanslope / In p[ri]mis I geve & bequeth unto the
mother church of lincoln iid / and to the hight awlt[e]r in hanslop
for tithes for gotten / iiijd / It[e]m to ellinor my daught[e]r the wich
I had by my first daught[e]r wife / a heckford of ij yere olde
a brass pott / a pan a coverlett a payer of sheets a mattrres
