In the name of God Amen:  March the xvij  Anno Dom 1623: I John Panter of Hanslopp in the countie of Bucks: beinge weake and sicke in bodie, but of good and perfecte remembrance thankes be given to allmightie God do make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge ffirst I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of allmightie god, the father, the sonne and the holy ghoste, and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Hanslopp aforesaide;  Item I give unto my sonne Oliver xs:  Item I give unto my sonne Richard xs:  Item I give unto my sonne Gilbert xs:  Item i give unto Robert my youngest sonne xxs:  Item I give unto my daughter Jane xxs:  Item I give unto my daughter Katherne xxs: to be paide unto them att the age of one and twentie yeares; and if any of them do die before they come to the age of twentie and one yeares; my will is that theire portions shallbe devided amongst them that are alive; all the rest of my goodes unbequeathed, I give unto Judith my wife, to paie my debtes and to discharge my funerall and do make her my whole and sole executrix of this my last will and testament:  Witnesses Henry Newman, Thomas Church and Willyam Panter
