In the name of god Amen:  I Alexander Forde of Churchend of the parishe of Hanslopp, in the countie of Bucks:  yeoman, beinge sicke in bodie, but the lord be praysed in good and perfect memorie,  doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge;  First I bequeath my soule unto allmighty god, whoe created it, to Jesus Christ whoe redeemed it by whose meritts and passion, I hope and am assured to have salvation;  and to the holy ghoste whoe hath sanctified and preserved me, three persons and but one god, whome I doe adore and will acknowledge for ever and my bodie to he earth from whence it came;  Item I doe give unto my sister Forde, late the wife of my brother Henry Forde late of Worldly in the countie of Essex deceased tenn shillings;  Item I doe give unto the second sonne of my said brother Henry Forde whoe is now a prentise with a shooemaker, three skore pounds  Item I doe give unto every one of the daughters of my saide brother Henry Forde that are now liveing Fortie pounds a peece;  Item I doe give unto the eldest sonne of my cosen John Carter of Haversham  fortie shillings towards binedinge him a prentice;  Item I doe give unto every one of the daughters of my saide cosen John Carter, that are now liveinge twentie shillings a peece;  Item I doe give to every one of the chilldren of my cosen Thomas Carter of Haversham twentie shillinges a peece;  Item I doe give unto my cosen Jane Backhouse widowe fortie shillings;   Item I doe give unto every one of the chilldren of my cosen Henry Backhouse twentie shillings a peece;  Item I doe give unto my cosen George Backhouse his chilldren which he late had by my cosen his now wife since his marriage with her, twentie shillings a peece;  Item I doe give unto my godsonne John Legg fortie shillings towards binedinge him a prentice;  Item I doe give unto my cosen John Glover tenn shillings;  Item I doe give to my cosen Anne Newman, wife of my cosene Henry Newman tenn shillings to buy her a paire of gloves;  Item I doe give unto my cosen Henry Newman his sonne tenn shillings;  Item I doe give unto every one of the servants, now liveinge with my cosen Henry Newman twentie shillings a peece;  Item I doe give unto Alice Bude tenn shillings;  Item I doe give unto every one of Willyam Panter his chilldren five shillings a peece;  provided allwaise and my will is, that my executors heareafter named shall satisfie and paie all the legacies and bequests, by me given as aforesaid, within one yeare next after my decease; Item I doe give unto the poore of Hanslopp parishe six pounds to be dstributed amongst them as a dole for me at my buriall at the discretion of my executors  Item I doe give to Thomas Fasson and Mathew Horne twelve pence a peece  Item my will is that my saide executors heareafter named shall seale and deliver a sufficient release or other dischardge unto my tenant Backhouse for all the rent she oweth or shall owe to me at my decease;  Item I doe give to all my sister Fordes daughters all my linnen;  Item I doe give unto my cosen Henry Forde whome  I make one of my executors all my woode and timber in the streete of Hanslopp, and one bedsteede and all my chestes and other lumber and household stuff remayneinge in the chamber wheare I lately doe lye in the house of Willyam Panter;  All the rest of my goods cattells, chattells, plate, Jewells, and household stuff my debts beinge paide, and my bodie beinge brought to the grave, and my funerall expences beinge dischardged, I doe give to my saide cosen Henry Forde whoe now is clarke to a beare brewer in London, and unto my cosen Henry Newman, whoe I make my sole executor of this my last will and testament; revoakeinge heareby all other and former wills by me made;  I doe nominate an desire my loveinge ffriende  Edward Newman, and my cosen John Newman to be my overseers of this my last will and testament unto whome I have given five shillings a peece, to buy them a paire of gloves;  Item I doe give to Tobie Tarry five shillings;  Item I doe give to Richard Glannester sonne of Willyam Glanester vi shillings viii pence to buy him a ewe and a lambe;  Item I doe give unto every one of my cosen John Newman his chilldren, six shillings eight pence a peece to buy them every one of them a ewe and a lambe;  Item I doe give  unto very one of the chilldren of my cosen Elizabeth Bebee now liveinge six shillings eight pence a peece, to buy every one of them a ewe and lambe;  In witnes wheareof I have heareunto set my hande  and seale the thirteenth daie of June anno dom 1633: and in the nineth yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne lord Charles by the grace of god of England, Scotland, ffrance and Ieland king defender of the faith etc. the marke of Aleander Forde;  signed, sealed, published and acknowledged in the presence of Arth: Coldwell; Henry Newman; Robert Perry  twentie shillings Richard Perry the ellder  twentie shillings the  Kurtlande five shillings, the widowe Webb twoe shillings and six pence, Elizabeth Gyles, twoe shillings and six pence my tenant Backhouse five shillings, Edward Stones five shillings, John Bastrinne five shillings     Proved 20th daie monthe August anno dom 1633:

7th June 1637  Henry Newman et all  that the deceased at the time of his death had a debt of a £200 due uppon bond unto the deceased from one  ..... Battison of Brafield on the greene in   Northampton which saide some he hath since receaved
