Listed building
The building is listed with particulars as follows.
Westlands(including Garden Wall
to Spring Lane))
Grade II
C17 much altered. Ashlar stone restored slate roof, stone coped gable and
fretted parapet. Brick stack and two flat topped dormers. Two storeys and
attic, C18 or early C19 front with reset datestone inscribed "1611 WES".
Half glazed doors left of centre in wide Tuscan columned porch with
pilasters, frieze with round medallions and cornice. Square bay window on
right, two pairs of C19 sash window to first floor. Large C19 wing to south, gable to street, two storey stone canted bay window, pair of sash windows to second floor. Flank elevation to Spring Lane of rubble stone, projecting
stone stack to gable, one sash window, early C19 panelled door with reeded
wooden doorcase. High garden wall with tiled coping attached to west.
