This farm no longer exists. It used to be just south of Gordon's Lodge, very close to the railway, so it may have been removed when the railway was built. In the map of 1779, it is shown as owned by Edward Watts and occupied by John Aris. In the Duke of Kingston's rent books, it appears to be the farm rented by Robert Aris from 1754 to beyond 1763, and by Lawrence Harrawy from at least 1723 to 1753. |
