Building to left   building to right

The following is summarised from a survey conducted in 2008.

The house appears to be a rebuild of c.1840-60 of an earlier building on the same site.  There is no evidence to understand the earlier building.

The house is of 9" brickwork, with cogged eaves and a shallow pitched slate roof.  The house is of four bays, and was at one time two cottages, equally divided by a central partition in the position of the modern front entrance.
