| 22 High Street as a Spar shop, c1970 At this time it was the Post Office and the Postmaster was Mr Penn. The post box was built when the Post Office moved here from 2/4 High Street. The room behind the 'Spar' sign was the Post Office and had previously been the 'Bacon Room' where bacon, lard, butter were stored and weighed out. | |||
