Green End School
 
 
  Green End School, known as the Bottom School, in about 1910. In the photograph is the headmaster William Quixley, his wife Beatrice and their daughter. They lived in the house on the right. The school was demolished around 1968, but the brick wall is still standing in front of the present school.
