Cottages in Long Street |

This is believed to have been taken about 1935 and shows the old cottages which were located just to the north of the Forest Road junction in Long Street. These cottages were pulled down, probably in the late 1950s. When Tony Otter arrived as vicar in 1968 he moved into one of the new houses on the site.
Charlie Francis and Jane Webb lived in the cottage on the left for many years. |
