High Street stores

Part of Hanslope High Street in about 1918. The proprietor of the shop was Frank Laughton, whose name appears on the shop sign and on the delivery cycles. The photograph shows the cobbled footpath of the time and the iron railings, which were commandeered in the Second World War.
