In January 2009, the part of this building that is visible is now known as Lace Cottage.  It is the end cottage of a row of three attached cottages set at an angle to the road.

Early 20th Century
This page is concerned with the cottage which formed then of the building nearest the road, and approximately in the middle of this photograph.

In 2009, a row of three attached cottages are set at an angle to the road. The cottage nearest the road formed a separate dwelling in 1900. The two remaining cottages, illustrated here, occupy the site of what was one cottage in 1900. Today they are known as Victoria Cottage (on the left) and April Cottage.
