These two houses, known as Lea View House and Aspiring Heights in 2014, are on the site of two cottages which are shown on the 1900 Ordnance Survey map and recorded in a survey of 1910. It is not known when the earlier cottages were pulled down, but as it does not appear to have been within living memory, it is likely to have been before 1940.
