This red brick building forms two cottages. The present building is believed to have been constructed c1920s. There are no clear photographs available of the earlier building, although it can be glimpsed on the edge of one photograph from early 1900s.
In the 1939/45 war the northern of the two houses was occupied by Mrs Hunt, an evacuee from London. She was a sister of Jack Everett. |

This page concerns the red brick building which forms two cottages; the first hidden behind the trees to the left. |
|
This photograph probably dates from the early 1900s. The thatched cottages on the extreme left of the photograph are in the location which is subject of this page. The chimneys appear to be quite different from the chimneys on the houses to day. |
|
From the 1920s The chimneys just visible on the houses on the left of this photograph are more like those today, suggesting the current houses were built between 1910 and the early 1920s. |
